Traffic Controller

Cost: $190 per person
Duration: 1 day face to face
Pre-requisites: WHS Whitecard; Drivers Licence – Green P’s or above

This course provides training for staff who are required to control traffic with a Stop Slow Bat.

Course Content:
·Understand the role of a Traffic Controller
·Apply the procedures of traffic controlling within a worksite.
·Operate a 2-way radio correctly and effectively.
·Promote the role of traffic controller in the community.

Course Pre-requisites:
·Adequate literacy AND
·A NSW WorkCover Construction Induction Certificate (Whitecard) or equivalent.
And hold or have previously held:
·A minimum NSW P2  (Green P’s) Drivers Licence or equivalent; or have held
·NSW Traffic Controller Photo ID Card (expired within the last 2 years).
(Documents must be shown to the trainer on the day)

Course Outcome:
A Statement of Completion will be issued on the day to successful applicants.
Traffic control cards will be sent out by Registered Post, approximately 3 weeks after course completion.
