RSA/ RCG certificates 
Older paper certificates expire 30 June 2016
Older paper certificates (pictured) for the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) competencies received from 1 January 2010 to 21 August 2011 will expire on 30 June 2016. Any paper certificates issued before 1 January 2010 have already expired. These certificates only show one competency and don't show an expiry date. 

You will need to complete a full RSA and/ or RCG training course by 30 June 2016 if you wish to work in roles that require a valid RSA or RCG competency. Upon completion of a full course, you will receive an interim certificate which you can use to apply for a competency card. 

Already hold an RSA and/ or RCG competency card?

If you already hold a valid RSA and/ or RCG competency card, please check the expiry date printed on your card and ensure we have your most recent contact details. We will use email and SMS to notify you of requirements to renew your competency card, as you approach your card expiry date.
