Entry Requirements

This unit will only be assessed after the following prerequisite unit is completed:

  • SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety

This course deals with the skills & knowledge required to extract and serve espresso coffee using a commercial espresso machine, foaming silky milk correctly, the different coffees on the menu, the correct storage of coffee, cleaning, care & maintenance of machinery. On successful completion of this course participants will be issued with a statement of attainment.
