2018 Changes to the Enrolment Process

Due to NCVER /AVETMISS regulatory requirements from 2018 we will require all students to come into our office to complete their enrolment form prior to the course.  They must supply their USI at that time.

Please note that phone enrolments are not confirmed until the student has completed this step.  We will also need to sight their photo ID and a photocopy will be retained with their enrolment form.

Students completing Traffic Control will also need to complete a LLN assessment at this time as well.

Please note that any student who is under 18, will need to have a guardian sign their enrolment form.

Reminder for Courses

In 2018 we will send out a courtesy text to the student 3 business days prior to the course.  They will need to respond ‘Y’ for YES that they are attending the course, or ‘N’ for NO they cannot attend the course.

They must respond on the same day.  If we do not receive a response, we will take that as a yes, they are attending.

We will not be making individual phone calls, unless the student does not have a mobile phone.

Cancellations / Refunds

If a student needs to cancel, we must be notified 2 business days prior to the course.  Purchase orders will be invoiced after this timeframe.

Providers can contact us directly, the student can reply ‘N’ to the text, or the student can phone us directly to advise they cannot attend the course.

If we have not received notice, we will assume they are attending, and purchase orders will be invoiced.

Please note there will be no transfers of enrolments in 2018.  The only exception is a medical certificate if the illness occurs within the 48 hours prior to a course.

Surveys

Students may receive a request to undertake a survey by NCVER or ASQA regarding their training.  The student may opt out of the survey at the time of being contacted.

This is outlined on our new enrolment form.

If you have any questions regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to contact us.
